Shoaib gave me unwanted attention: Rahul

After reports that actor Rahul Dev had beaten up Shoaib Qureshi while working out at SKYZ gym in Mumbai, we spoke to the actor to find out what had happened.
Rahul says, ���I���m upset with the way the story has been reported because according to me, this case was over there and then after, this guy���s mother came to sort things out. His mother said ki yeh aapke chote bhai jaisa hai and I left it at that.���
Rahul adds, ���This guy had been trying my patience since about ten days.One day, while I was doing pull-ups, he came and hugged me. He told me that he���d been watching me work out. I took this as a one-off case, as people do come up to me to say such things. But as days progressed, this guy kept giving me unwanted attention. He would cross me, brushing my shoulder. I told myself, ���Rahul, you���re in showbiz, you���re a commodity ��� all this fanfare happens.��� This guy wouldn���t budge, it was unnerving. His half-dances and unnatural ways made me mad, and one day, when he pushed me ��� I slapped him. I won���t deny that. His brother came, the management intervened and his mother made him say sorry. Jab yeh sab ho gaya tha toh yeh ekdum se fifteen minutes of fame ke liye media mein aa gaya.���
Rahul says that it���s even more upsetting, as he���s finding it hard to cope with the recent loss of his wife. ���It���s my son Siddhant���s 12th birthday today and this is what I���m gifting him. He has 20 elder cousins and they all read the papers,��� he says, adding, ���This guy knows where I live and I���ll be worried if I decide to leave the city. I���ve lodged a formal complaint with the police.���
When contacted, the spokesperson of SKYZ gym, M Akbar said, ���There���s some problem with Shoaib. He���s been a member for just two months and we���ve received seven-eight complaints. Rahul complained too. He told me that he gives him undue attention and asked me to speak to him. But what surprises me is the fact that all this has become news. We cleared it out with this guy immediately after the incident. His mother came, Rahul hugged him and we thought it was over. The gym was shut on October 2 so I couldn���t speak to him but I���m going to find out what his intention was as soon as I get to speak to him. Rahul could���ve gone to the media too but he didn���t because the matter was over.���
And what about the point that Rahul was working out in jeans and Shoaib wasn���t allowed? ���Such a thing was never told to me by the management. I don���t know where this came from,��� says Rahul.
